His first taste of the entertainment industry was when he started producing short films during his schooling days. Jesus has had stints in various regional film companies, and is passionate about creating inspiring and entertaining films with complex storytelling woven in.

Dave "Kuya" Paulista
Co-founder of Spotlight Studios, Kuya has spent more than 30 years in the film industry. Since dropping out of school to work as part of a television crew, he has worked in multiple roles across multiple studios regionally. Driven and down-to-earth, he is passionate in fostering a creative community that feels like a family for all.

Juan Angel Rodriguez
Co-founder of Spotlight Studios, Juan Angel is a talented creative who has spent more than 10 years in the industry. Moving to Manila from Madrid at the age of 9, he honed his craft making homemade reels as a student. Since then, he has worked for notable giants such as Netflix. He is passionate about independent storytelling and empowering creative voices.

Born in Davao, Enrique has spent the last 6 years working for various small, independent film studios in South East Asia. He is passionate about films leaving a profound impact on its audience.

Michaela Robertson
Michaela has spent 30 years in different financial roles, including the past 10 years in the entertainment industry. Hailing from Melbourne, she has worked globally in cities such as New York and London. An avid movie buff, her favorite films are "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and " When Harry Met Sally".
